Our students sure showed up today for Cubs for a Cause! Our halls were covered in pink, and we had a blast visiting the Pink Car from the Easley Fire Department. With so many of our families effected by breast cancer, this cause meant a lot to our students. Thank you for participating and donating to such a worthwhile cause!

🐻❤️💙 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 💙❤️🐻

What an amazing week of field trips at Crosswell Elementary! Our students had incredible experiences, explored new places, and enjoyed opportunities to learn in ways that go far beyond the classroom.

Experiential learning allows students to make real-world connections, ask questions, build confidence, and discover new interests. Through these hands-on experiences, our Cubs are not only gaining knowledge but also developing important life skills, creating lasting memories, and growing as learners and leaders! 📚

We are so thankful for the opportunities that allow our students to explore, experience, and grow. The best learning happens when students can put their knowledge into action and see the world through new eyes!

Tuesday, October 20th, our students have a wonderful opportunity to help support Breast Cancer Awareness with Cubs for a Cause. The Easley Police Department will join us from 11:30-1:30 on Tuesday with the PINK CAR. Students are encouraged to wear pink. If you would like to sign the car, please bring $5 in cash!

Calling all of our littlest learners! Our next Cub Tales adventure is coming up! 💙💛

All families are invited to join us! Cub Tales is a FREE program for children birth–5 years old and their caregivers! While our little ones learn through music, movement, books, and play, caregivers will have a chance to connect with other families and pick up simple early literacy nuggets and helpful tips to use at home. And the best part? Every family goes home with a wonderful book to add to their home library! We are incredibly thankful for Women’s United Way of Pickens County for making this possible for our families and community.

Our Crosswell Elementary Fall Festival was amazing! 🍁 We are so grateful for everyone who came out to support our school and help make this event such a huge success. From the fun, food, games, and fellowship to the smiles on our students’ faces, it was a night to remember! A HUGE **THANK YOU** to all of our wonderful vendors, dedicated volunteers, staff members, and families who gave their time, talents, and support to make this event possible. We would love to have you volunteer at Crosswell! We value and appreciate our volunteers. You can make a big difference! If you're interested, please follow these steps. You will watch the Volunteer Video, read the SDPC Volunteer Pamphlet, fill out the SDPC Volunteer Application, watch the Bloodborne Pathogens for Volunteers, read the Sexual Harassment Policies, and then fill out the Volunteer Orientation Certification. All of these steps must be complete before you can volunteer. Our first Crosswell Elementary Skate Night of the year will be this Thursday, September 24th from 6:00-8:00 PM at Roller Time Skate Center in Easley, SC. The cost is $8.00 including skate rental. An adult must be present with students! We can't wait to see you our there!
