Dear Parents of Second Graders:

The State Department of Education has announced the window for testing second graders. The School District of Pickens County will begin testing on Thursday, October 14.

These assessments are for 2nd grade students ONLY:

Thursday, October 14 - Verbal Battery (CogAT)
Friday, October 15 – Quantitative Battery (CogAT)
Monday, October 18 - Nonverbal Battery (CogAT)
Tuesday, October 19 - Reading (Iowa)
Wednesday, October 20 – Math (Iowa) 

Parents are asked to ensure that students have ample rest and eat a good breakfast during this testing period.  It is important that students arrive at school on time, especially during testing.
